| Okay, so this is news to me. I'm going to be excited about it. My friend Derek came into the store the other day while I was working, and told me about the California Steampunk Convention, which more or less made my day. I was so stoked. I love the other conventions I go to, but if I have a chance to go to this, I'd sell my spleen in a heart beat. Consequently, this led to the searching of the internet tubes for more steampunk stuffs. Which led me to these images, which I thought needed to be shared.
On top of that, Abney Park is going to be playing. Not only would I sell my spleen to see them, but I'd throw in half my liver as well. I don't know if I can swing both this convention and the ren faire this year, but I'll crunch some numbers and see. Hopefully it'll work out. Maybe I can squeeze some birthday presents out a little bit early from the parents and make this work. I'll see what I can do. | comments: Leave a comment   |

| This is for those of you who never got a chance to Trick or Treat, or who grew out of it before your time, or for everyone who has an unnatural affinity for extortion...
Please feel free to put this up on your LJ/IJ/GJ/whatever, to invite trick or treaters to your own door. Treats can be anything that strikes your fancy (pics of fave actors, one sentence fics, a few words why you're glad to have them on your flist, etc. etc.). The more "houses" to visit, the more fun it'll be, so spread the word!
How It Works
note: the rules muskrit saw were modified already, so muskrit is modifying them even more...
Trick or treat by commenting with an icon from the fandom in which you would like your treat. (If you don't think I'll know the fandom, just tell me what it is.)
If you have a preference between getting a pretty picture or a sentencefic, do tell!
Same thing goes for character/pairing preference. (But be forewarned that I consider my obligation to fulfill preferences to be more of a guideline than an actual rule.)
