Steampunk
Okay, so this is news to me. I'm going to be excited about it. My friend Derek came into the store the other day while I was working, and told me about the California Steampunk Convention, which more or less made my day. I was so stoked. I love the other conventions I go to, but if I have a chance to go to this, I'd sell my spleen in a heart beat. Consequently, this led to the searching of the internet tubes for more steampunk stuffs. Which led me to these images, which I thought needed to be shared.

On top of that, Abney Park is going to be playing. Not only would I sell my spleen to see them, but I'd throw in half my liver as well. I don't know if I can swing both this convention and the ren faire this year, but I'll crunch some numbers and see. Hopefully it'll work out. Maybe I can squeeze some birthday presents out a little bit early from the parents and make this work. I'll see what I can do.
